This is the final Global Harmonies concert for 2019. Saltana is a band with origins in the Middle East, and a line up that includes local ney (flute) player Talal Makdesi, plus oud, keyboard, voice and percussion. These musicians play the evocative music of ancient traditions from Syria. They are keen to play at St. Margaret’s on October 4th, to share the music they love with a broader audience. The menu on this night will include Middle Eastern taste treats. |
