Sunday , 6:30 service 5:30 light meal
Taizé is the creation of a monastic community in Taizé, France, founded in the 1940s by a Swiss man known as Brother Roger. The brothers there are celibates who emphasise service and ecumenicalism, particularly reconciliation between divided peoples and divided Christians.
Light, prayer, and music in a beautiful setting are woven together in contemplative prayer at a Taize service. We sing simple harmonized tunes, often in various languages, interspersed with readings, prayers, and periods of silence.
Participate or just sit back and relax as we listen to beautiful music and reflections. Join with family and friends , once a month, on a Sunday afternoon at 5:30pm to have a light meal followed by a short, candlelit, peaceful, meditative service.
Services are on the last Sunday of every month. Phone: 9439 9238
