Made a Deacon by the Archbishop of Melbourne in February 2026, Andrew was formed for ordained ministry at Trinity College Theological School. It was here that his enjoyment and engagement in theological study bore fruit, and he received university prizes for Greek, Biblical Studies, and Church History. He has a great love for the life and tradition of our Patristic and Anglican forebears in the Church, for whom ‘theology’ was the knowledge of God rooted in sacramental encounter with Christ and in disciplined prayer within the community of the Church. Andrew delights in finding ways to effectively communicate the “breadth and length and height and depth” of the mystery of the love of God in Christ, “so that all may be filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:18).
