DONATIONS
Donations to The St Margaret's Eltham Charitable Trust are tax deductible and receipts are issued.
General Fund - donors may give to the General Fund of the Trust. The General Fund is distributed at the discretion of the Trustees to wherever there is the greatest need.
Earmarked Donations - donors may designate their donations to their preferred charitable organisation, providing it is registered as a deductible gift recipient. The Charitable Trust will forward the donation to the designated organisation and the donor will be issued with a receipt from the Charitable Trust which will enable them to claim a tax deduction. A number of donors use this option as a means of giving anonymously, particularly when they wish to support numerous organisations but do not wish to be on their mailing lists.
Emergency Appeals - The Charitable Trust affords donors an opportunity to contribute towards a significant 'group' donation when emergency situations arise.
