Yvette comes to us from St. Francis Church of England, Newcastle-on-Tyne.
Before her ordination Revd. Yvette had spent many years working in the community as a Police Officer with Northumbria Police for 10 years, followed by 2 years as Manager of a Woman’s refuge, as a Strategic Domestic Violence Coordinator and a Domestic Violence and Abuse worker. As a Deacon/priest Assistant Curate, she has had many development roles and led a number of groups during her time at St. Francis in the Newcastle Diocese.
She was commissioned by Bishop Brad Billings on Thursday 16th November 2023 – St. Margaret’s Day.
